Aston Villa have confirmed the capture of Aly Cissokho from Valencia on a four-year deal, subject to international clearance.
The club announced the news on their official Twitter page on Friday, with Cissokho securing a return to the Premier League after spending last season on loan at Liverpool.
Cissokho made 19 appearances in all competitions at Anfield, including 12 league starts as Brendan Rodgers men finished second.
That temporary deal came after one season at Valencia, where he made 25 La Liga appearances during 2012-13.

Multiple reports and leaks in recent weeks have claimed that Square Enix is collaborating with Tencent on a mobile version of its successful MMORPG Final Fantasy 1Sports Betting4, and that has now been officially announced. Final Fantasy 14 Mobile, developed by Tencent’s Lightspeed Studios, is a separate version of the game developed from the ground-up for iOS and Android devices.
