Tottenham s Moussa Sissoko has claimed he never considered leaving the club, despite struggling to make an impact during his first two seasons.
Sissoko joined Tottenham on deadline day in August 2016, having been on the verge of a move to Everton before Spurs secured his signing from Newcastle United for a reported £30million.
The midfielder initially failed to cement a place in Mauricio Pochettino s side and was often criticised by Tottenham s fans following the big-money move, but he has become a first-team regular this term.
Sissoko has revealed that, despite his struggles, he never considered pushing for a move away from Tottenham.
The best thing I have done is to be strong mentally. he told the Guardian.
I never give up. In life, yo…

has made his move from one La Liga team to another leaving Sevilla and transferring over to for a fee of €2 million, Estadio Deportivo reports.
The 22-year-old centre back has worked out a four-year deal with Málaga after a great season with Sevilla s reserve team and with spectacular work done with the U-21 Spanish side that finished runners up in the U21 Euro tournament. However, Sevilla has a clause where they can buy back González at any point during the next three years.
Since joining Sevilla in 2015, González has bounced around between the senior club and the reserve side, which plays in the Spanish Second Division. He has made only five appearances in two years with the senior squad in contrast to the 72 appearances he has made with Sevilla s reserve side.…
Jorginho s agent has suggested his client could leave Chelsea at the end of the season, claiming a reunion with Maurizio Sarri at Juventus is a possibility.
Italy international Jorginho joined Chelsea in 2018, following Sarri to Stamford Bridge from Napoli.
He was a key figure under the Italian coach, starting in 37 Premier League games during his debut campaign in England.
The midfielder has also been a regular under Frank Lampard this season, scoring four goals in 23 league outings so far.
However, his representative – Joao Santos – is expecting offers for the player during the next transfer window, despite still having another three years to run on his contract.
Why not? Santos told Tuttomercatoweb when asked if Jorginho could leave Chel…
Leeds manager Daniel Farke declared himself delighted with a point from a 2-2 draw at Watford in the final act of a dramatic day of Championship action.
Leeds required a 85th-minute equaliser from substitute Mateo Joseph to preserve his side’s unbeaten league start to 2024.
The Spanish striker, 20, netted just 25 seconds after coming on but a point was not enough to reclaim the Championship summit from Ipswich, 1-0 winners at Blackburn earlier in the day. Before that, Leicester – 1-0 losers at Bristol City in a lunchtime clash – had dropped out of the top two altogether.
Watford led twice in the first half through Vakoun Bayo and Emmanuel Dennis, who scored either side of a fine strike by the game’s outstanding individual, Crysancio Summerville. Watford l…
